A limited series of Tera Lamps and custom vessels finished in a deep rust Shino glaze. This unique color emboldens a neutral space or balances a moody room.
Inspiration
In this series we explored color and form, creating pieces that are intended to feel warm and earthy, but also have the ability to make a statement.
Finish
The Shino glaze originates from Japan and can range in color from milky white to deep red depending on the firing technique. The speckles in some pieces come from an iron rich clay body, adding another dimension to this beautiful finish.
